Educational Qualification

Age Limit
Age limit for the post of Principal will be between 32 to 50 years. (As on 01.01.2024)
21 to 38 years for other posts. (As on 01.01.2024)
Age relaxation for Sc, ST, Woman, OBC, PH as per government rules.
Other Guidelines
- All candidates should have knowledge of Oriya language and English language.
- The applying candidate should read up to ME Standard with Oriya language. Other candidates can also apply, but the candidate must have obtained this degree from BSE within three years of getting the job.
- Some posts have computer tests for candidates.
How Will Job Candidates Be Selected for OAVS Recruitment 2024
- Candidates have to give Computer Based Test (CBT) for this exam. Then the passed candidates have to give Interview and Performance test.
- CBT exam will be in Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4. Part 1 numbers will not be added to the final.
- CBT question papers will be in Oriya and English language.
Exam Syllabus for OAVS Recruitment 2024
According to the notification, the exam syllabus, total marks have been kept separately according to the post.
Full marks 180 marks for Principal post, full marks 200 marks for other posts including teacher. Read the official notification for each exam syllabus details.
Topics Emphasized in the Exam:
- English and Odia language test
- General knowledge
- Reasoning
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Computer test
Besides, the interview will be of 40 – 60 marks.
How Much Is the Application Fee?
- Fee for Principal post is Rs 2000 for UR & SEBC candidates and Rs 1250 for SC, ST, PwD candidates.
- Fee for Teaching post is Rs 1500 for UR & SEBC candidates and Rs 1000 for SC, ST, PwD.
- Candidates have to pay the application fee online through SBI e-pay and SBI collect debit card and net banking.
How to Apply for OAVS Recruitment 2024
- Eligible candidates should first visit OAVC website www.oav.edu.in online.
- Click Start there, then sign up with correct email id and mobile number. Password and log in details will be sent to the email number.
- After registration, log in and fill the application form. Then enter your personal information, educational information. Then upload new Photo and Signature of the candidate.
- Then pay the application fee through SBI debit card or net banking and submit your application.
- Finally, download a copy of your application form.
