IAF Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024: As per Indian Air Force notification, the recruitment of Indian male citizen for Airman Group Y and Medical Assistant Trade will be done soon.

In this phase opportunity is given to eligible candidates from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh and Ladakh regions. So, all the eligible candidates from that region who want to utilize this opportunity will apply through online mode.

As per notification of Indian Air Force, the registration process for the post of Group Y, Medical Assistant will be conducted from 22 May to 5 June, applicants can apply through Air Force website www.airmenselection.cdac.in.

Registration Fee for IAF Group Y, Medical Assistant Posts:

  • UR/OBC/EWS: ₹100+GST charges
  • SC/SC: ₹100+ GST Charges

IAF Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024: Posting Areas

Applicants must participate in the rally after registration. Then the candidates will be selected in various stages. After that, the training of the selected candidates will start. If the training is successful, they will be appointed according to the vacancies.

IAF Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria required to get a job in these vacancies:

Education Qualification

1) Medical Assistant:

10+2/Intermediate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks and 50% in English.

Or, 2 years vocational courses with non-vocational subject like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English with 50% marks and 50% in English.

2) Medical Assistant (Diploma/B.sc in Pharmacy):

10+2/Intermediate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks and 50% in English.

In addition, Diploma/B.sc in pharmacy with 50% marks.

Age Limit

a) Medical assistant (10+2 candidate): Must be born between 2 January 2004 – 2 January,2008

And only unmarried candidates can apply.

b) Medical Assistant (diploma/B.sc in pharmacy) Unmarried: Must be born between 2 January 2001 – 2 January,2006.

Married Candidate: Must be born between 2 January 2001 – 2 January,2004.

Other Information

Medical Standard:

  • Height: 152.5 cm
  • Chest: Must be in proportion. Must have 5 cm expansion capacity.
  • Weight: Weight will be rationed according to height.

Candidates’ appointment is for 20 years, which will last up to 57 years.

Physical Fitness Test:

  • 1.6 km in 7 minutes (till 21 year’s candidate)
  • 1.6 km in 7 minutes 30 second (21 Year+ and Diploma/B.sc in pharmacy candidate)
  • 10 push Ups,10 sits ups,20 squats.

IAF Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024: Salary Details

Starting stipend of candidates is Rs.14600

Salary after completion of training starts from Rs.26900. Also, other allowances will be given separately. Read the notification carefully for details.

IAF Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024: Exam Syllabus & Pattern

Exam pattern:

  • Physical fitness test
  • Written test
  • Adaptability test 2
  • Medical appointment

Written test: Objective type question in OMR sheet.

  • English (20 questions), Reasoning and General Awareness (30 questions).
  • Total time 45 minutes, each question 1 marks, .25 marks for negative.

Adaptability test: Test of adept with the IAF environment and adjusting to military life

IAF Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant Recruitment 2024: Steps to Apply

  • Read the notification before applying. Then go directly to the IAF website. Go there and apply by selecting group y, medical assistant posts and going to ‘Apply Now’.
  • Then registration should be done with the candidate’s mobile number. All information such as name, address, date of birth, educational qualification information should be given along with it.
  • Then the new photograph and signature of the candidate should be uploaded.
  • Application fee of ₹ 100 + GST charges should be submitted online by going to payment section.
  • Then the entire application form should be verified a second time, and the application should be submitted.
  • You should print out the application form as proof of application. Also keep a print of the same photograph given in the application form. 
  • Keep doing the preparations required to join this force.
