Fee for applying for the post of Agniveer of Indian Navy:

The application fee for General/EWS/OBC/SC/ST candidates is Rs 550.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR & MR Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria required to get a job in these vacancies:

Education Qualification

1) Educational Qualification for Agniveer SSR Post:

10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics with 50% marks.

Or, 3-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumental Technology/ information Technology) with 50% marks.

Or, 2-year vocational courses with non-vocational subject like Physics, Mathematics with 50% marks.

2) Educational Qualification for Agniveer MR (Chef / Steward / Hygienist):

Matriculation degree passed with 50% marks.

Age Limit

Candidates age should be between 01/11/2003 to 30/04/2007 to apply for both the posts of Agniveer SSR and MR of Indian Navy.

Age relaxation has been given to those reserved for the recruitment of Naval Agniveers as per government rules.

Other Information

If the applicant is married, the application form will be canceled. Cannot get married during service.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR & MR Recruitment 2024: Salary Details

Agniveer SSR and MR post salary is Rs.30000 per month with additional allowances. Salary will increase every year at fixed rate. One time money will be given as fund after four years of service. For more details read the Navy notification in detail.

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR & MR Recruitment 2024: Exam Syllabus & Pattern

Recruitment of eligible candidates will be done in three stages. First the recruitment will be through the entrance test, then the physical ability test, and finally the medical test. For the selection of the candidates, the entrance test must be given first.

The entrance exam questions will be of objective type.

For The Post of SSR there will be 100 questions, 1 mark each. Time 1 hour, 0.25 negative marks for wrong answers.

For The Post of MR there are 50 questions,1 marks each. Time 30 minutes, 0.25 negetive marks for wrong answers.

Exam Syllabus:

SSR Post: there are 4 subjects in the exam of total 100 marks.1) English 2) Science, 3) Mathematics, 4) General Awareness.

MR post: there are 3 subjects in the exam of 50 marks. 1) Science 2) Mathematics 3) General awareness

Physical Standard Test should be given after the entrance test. Then candidates will be appointed after medical test.

Physical Skills of the candidate applying for the post of Navy Agniveer:

Male:

  • Height: 157 cm
  • Running:1.6 km in 6.30 minute
  • Squat (Uthak & Baithak): 20 times
  • Push Up: 15 times
  • Knee sit-ups: 15 times

Female:

  • Height: 152 cm
  • Running:1.6 km in 8 minutes
  • Squat (Uthak & Baithak) :15 times
  • Push up: 10 times
  • Knee sit-ups: 10 times

Indian Navy Agniveer SSR & MR Recruitment 2024: Steps to Apply

  • Before applying, be sure to read the notification published by the Navy seriously.
  • Visit Navy Agniveer’s website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in to apply.
  • To register first, the candidate’s mobile number has to be registered with Aadhaar card information.
  • In the original application form, the candidate’s name, age, address, educational qualification and various information should be given.
  • Then go to the upload section and upload some information including new pictures, signatures.
  • Then go to the payment section and pay the application fee of Rs 550 for each candidate. Payment is being accepted through online mode.
  • Once the payment is done, you verify all the information for the second time and submit the application form and print out a copy as proof of the application.
