Navodaya Vidyalaya Teacher Recruitment 2024: As per notification of Jahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for the academic year 2024-25 the recruitment for the posts of PGT and TGT will be done in Navodaya Vidyalayas of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha. So, all the eligible job aspirants who are willing to apply for the post of teacher should immediately complete the application by visiting Navodaya Vidyalaya website www.navodaya.gov.in in Bhopal Region by 26.04.2024 only through online medium.

1. Educational Qualifications for applying for PGTs posts are:

• 2 years integrated post graduate course from regional College of education of NCERT or any other NCTE recognised University/institute with minimum 50% marks.
• Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in relevant subject.
• B.Ed Degree (B.Ed degree not required for 4 years integrated degree course of regional College of education of NCERT)
• Ability in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

2. Educational Qualification for PGT computer science post:

• M.SC (computer science/IT)/ MCA
• Or, ME or M-Tech(computer science/IT)
• B.Ed Degree

3. Educational Qualification for application to the post of TGTs:

• 4 years integrated degree course from regional college of education of NCERT or any other NCTE recognised University/institute with minimum 50% marks.
• Or, bachelor honours degree with 50% marks in concerned subject.
• Or, bachelor degree with 50% marks in concerned subject.
• Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility test (CTET), conducted by CBSE.
• B.Ed. degree
• Experience to teach through English and Hindi.

4. Eligibility to apply for TGT (III language), TGT(Odia):

• Concerned regional language as a subject/ elective subject in 3 years degree course.
• Passed the CTET exam.
• B.Ed degree.

5. Eligibility to apply for TGT (computer science) post:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application (BCA)
• Or, Graduation in Computer Science( main subject)
• Or, BE/B.Tech. (Computer Sciences/IT)
• Passed the CTET exam
• B.Ed degree

6. Eligibility to apply for the post of TGT (Art):

• Degree in fine Art/Craft
• Or, B.Ed degree in fine Art

7. TGT (physical Edu. Teacher(male/female))

• Bachelor of physical education degree (B.P.Ed)

8. TGT (Music)

• Bachelor degree in music as main subject

9. Liberian

• Degree in library science or 1 year’s diploma in library science.
• Working knowledge of Hindi English and regional language.

10. Hospitality and Tourism

• Degree or 3 years diploma in hotel management with atleast 60% marks.

11. Hotel Management

• Post graduate or five years diploma in hotel management.

12. Financial and Market Management

• M.Com/ MBA/ M.A( eco)/orher finance related degree.

Age Limit

Maximum age for applying for the post of teacher will be 50 years. (As on July 1, 2024)

Maximum age limit for Ex NVS teachers is 65 years (as on 1st July 2024).
