Eligibility Criteria for RPF Sub Inspector and Constable Recruitment 2024
Following are the eligibility criteria required to get a job in these vacancies:
Education Qualification
Educational Qualification for the post of Sub Inspector of RPF: Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
Educational qualification for the post of RPF Constable: 10th Pass or equivalent degree.
Age Limit
Age for the post of Sub Inspector is between 20 to 28 years.
Age limit for Constable post will be between 18 to 28 years.
There is age relaxation for reserved as per government norms.

Sub Inspector post salary Pay level 6 (7th pay commission) starting from Rs.35400.
Salary of Constable post Pay level 3 (7th pay commission) starting from Rs.21700.
Exam Syllabus & Pattern in RPF Sub Inspector and Constable Recruitment 2024
Candidates must apply for the post of Sub Inspector and Constable only once. No two posts can be applied for twice.
Recruitment process will be as follows:
- Computer Based Taste (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Documents Verification (DV)
- CBT:
- 120 Marks Exam, Time: 90 Minutes, 1 Mark for each question, 1/3 Marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Syllabus for SI Post is Graduation Level, Secondary Level Syllabus for Constable Post.
- CBT Syllabus: Arithmetic (35), General intelligence / Reasoning (35), General awareness (50)

- PET:
- Sub-Inspector Male: 1600m Run (in 6.30 mins), Long Jump 12ft, High Jump 3ft 9in.
- Sub-Inspector Women: 800m Run (in 4 mins), Long Jump 9ft, High Jump 3ft
- Constable Men: 1600m Run (in 5.45 mins), Long Jump 14ft, High Jump 4ft.
- Constable Women: 800m Run. (in 3.40 minutes), long jump 9 feet, high jump 3 feet.
- PMT: Read the notification to know the different criteria for the two posts.
- DV: Posting will be given to selected candidates after document verification.
Application Fee for RPF Sub Inspector and Constable Recruitment 2024
Application fee for SC, ST, Female, Ex Serviceman, Minority or Economically Backward class is 250 rupees. (250 rupees will be refunded if the test is given)
Application fee for all remaining candidates is Rs.500. (Rs. 400 will be refunded if CBT exam is given)
Some money will be deducted for bank charges while refunding.

- RPF Sub Inspector and Constable post can be applied only through online mode. Read the notification in detail before applying.
- First of the application, create an account with personal mobile number and email ID.
- After the account is created the main application process will start. Save the candidate’s personal information, date of birth, identity card, examination certificate, bank account etc. here.
- Then the candidate has to upload some personal information like new color passport photo, signature, (30 kb – 70 kb) SC, ST certificate.
