All these Junior Engineers will be appointed to Group B (Non Gazetted) posts through competitive examination. The ages for reserves as per government law are:
- SC / STs have relaxation of 5 years, OBCs 3 years, PwBDs more than 10 years.
How will job candidates be selected?
- Candidates will be selected through computer based test. A total of two papers will be examined.
- First paper 1 exam will be done. If you pass that exam, you will be tested for Paper 2. The final merit list will be published based on the marks of the two exams.
- If paper 2 is in multiple shifts then normalize score will be given.
How much is the application fee?
- Examination fee is Rs.100 for all candidates.
- No fee for women, SC, ST, PwBD, Ex Serviceman.

How to apply?
Every candidate must read the notification of SSC before applying.
- To apply, first go to SSC’s new website https://ssc.gov.in and do One Time Resister (OTR). (Cannot be done on old website sss.nic.in)
- After registering the candidate has to upload a clear photograph and signature of himself.
- After that you have to give all information like your name, identity, phone number etc. and submit. Every candidate must fill his application form carefully.
- Then submit the exam fee online through credit card, net banking, visa card etc. and submit all the information.
- Finally, download a copy of your application.
