Eligibility and Conditions for Various Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or graduated from a recognized institution.
Age: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years old. Reserved candidates may be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules.
Recruitment Process
Written Exam: Candidates will be selected initially through a written examination. In this regard, emphasis will be placed on various subjects, general intelligence, recent events, and other relevant topics.
Skill Test: After the initial stage, technical skills and typing tests will be conducted for specific positions such as data entry operators, stenographers, engineers, etc.
Interview: Finally, candidates will have to appear for an interview where their subject knowledge, communication skills, presence of mind, etc., will be assessed.

Application fee

How to register online
- First, go to the official portal of the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development, Government of West Bengal. (prd.wb.gov.in)
- Go to the “Panchayat Recruitment” page on the homepage, then click on the “Register Now” option and complete the registration process.
- Provide your name, date of birth, mobile number, correct email address, and other required information to complete the registration. Then, create a password. Once you receive an OTP on your mobile number, enter it to complete the registration process.
- According to government regulations, create your profile by uploading your photo and signature. Then, provide your name, date of birth, guardian’s name, address, identification document (such as Aadhar card), academic scores, and other required information. Upload the documents accordingly.
- Please check where your profile can be viewed. Then, according to the updates from the board, select the positions for which you wish to take the exam. If you want to know when the exam will take place or if you want to make any updates, you can do so in that section.
